Seattle Stomp
Inspired by space in music, acoustic 3-chord rhythms and simplistic songwriting, Seattle Stomp comes out of the gate to slap you with songs of self-loathing, love lost and anxious thoughts. This one-man-does-all act hails from Ann Arbor, MI. On this release, you have a mixture of garage punk, country blues and acoustic rock. These songs tackle subjects of self-contemptment, road trips and alcoholism. These songs have identity dysphoria and cannot decide if they are influenced by delay pedals or sleeplessness or a mild case of self-doubt. The vocals are one-note driven and have traces of influences from the likes of Calvin Johnson or Jonathan Richman. Maudlin Madness is the first release of Seattle Stomp.
