Wet Heave
Recorded in September 2014, Warm Shrimp is 33 minutes of hard-hitting, reverb-filled caveman stomp. Members Jonathan Baker, Alex Molica and Corene Medlicott stop at nothing to make your ears ring with their take on garage-punk. Carrying influences of the jukejoints that held country blues in the '20s, the booze-soaked venues of Ann Arbor in the late '60s and the lost adolescent sound made by the pre-cursors of CBGBs in the early '70s. Warm Shrimp will leave you drenched in sweat, out in the cold and wishing you would have shared the needle with them.

Cassette Gods - "Warm Shrimp"
Now we're talkin'! Part punk, and when I say punk I mean 60's punk; part Jonathan Richman and a sprinkling of surf and you have three piece Wet Heave from Bloomington, Indiana. This combo offers up a 12 track tape which, best I can figure, is from 2015 and from start to finish is engaging and refreshing.
Doodlehound - "Warm Shrimp"
The album balances the mid-tempo and upbeat fairly well with almost every song staying in that short-but-sweet two minute mark. Even the slower songs seem to be over before you know it. Likewise to some bands sharing a similar style Wet Heave's got a quirky comedic side, occasionally not afraid to throw in some comedic food fightin’ rock n’ roll like “Burger Time”.
